Snow Blower Mechanics?
Does anyone know of a good mechanic that repairs snow blowers?
Looking for a good one that won't charge me and arm and a leg.
ThanksSome people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Where abouts do you live? My hubby just had his fixed last year from this guy here in Stittsville. Was pretty dirt cheap to fix.

The guy in the Stittsville Industrial park is very good, but Chris lives at the opposite end of the world.
Nepean Kanata Air Cooled Engines 243 Westbrook Rd, Kanata (Note that despite the name this is in Stittsville)
You should also get it into a shop soon as they are already very backed up (no one ever gets their snowblower tuned up until they need it).

I found this guy in Convent Glen who really knows his stuff. The first guy I took it to thought it couldn't be fixed; however now it looks like it can. It's going to take a new carb, but it should be back to blowing snow next week. If you need work done on any small engines including outboard motors Brian is his name on Voyageur Drive. 613-830-1851

I'm surprised that running your Nikon D80 through it damaged the carb.

I've had this dark cloud over me for awhile now. I sure hope I shake it in the coming new year.
The only positive thing that has happened is getting married to my most excellent bride Robin Oct 24. Outside of that I got the shanks, dropped and broke my camera to a tune of $370 to repair, my snow blower blew up, my credit card was compromised and I had to repair the car after someone smashed the driver front quarter panel. Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...
