Shaft Question
The beginning of last year I put a Proto By U shaft in my driver and I love the my new ball flight with that shaft. I bought a matching 3 wood recently (I play a Nike SQ and now have the matching 3 wood) and would like to replace the shaft in the 3 wood. I don't know the first thing about club fitting and shaft technology. My questions are:
1. Is it safe to say that if I put the same shaft that's in my driver into my 3 wood that I would have similar results?
2. Are some wood shafts better in 3 woods than in drivers or vice versa?
3. Is there any good references that I can read to learn more about fitting shafts? Particularly for woods and hybrids? ("...for Dummies" reference would be best if available.)

1. Generally yes, but it's will depend on getting the tip trim and length right for the 3W.
2. Not really. I comes down to player preference, some like a heavier shaft in the FWY, and proper fit.
3. Lot's of references out there. This site is one, Dave Tutelman's site is also very good. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!
