You forgot to add 'Catch up with all the OG faithful' Bruce. I bet I ran into at least twenty guys I know from this board there last year...

Remember that if you go to the Trainyards you're going to be in hand to hand combat with Mr. St. Michael.

Did everyone get the email already? I haven't seen it. Does it mention anything about pricing? Looking to pick up a couple TM Burner rescue hybrids.

Got the email. It states "Up to 40%* off"
*While quantities last. Selection and availability may vary by store.
So it's really hard to tell how good the deals will be until someone reports back first hand. Hopefully they are generous with the amount of items tagged down 40%.
C'mon G10 5 wood!

Okay, just got back from the Trainyards. Showed up bright and early with Timmies in hand. Personally I struck out... no G10 stuff at all. I asked a couple of staff just to be sure as they do have two bags of used G10 clubs by the hitting area, but I was assured that none of it would be put out this year.
Pretty much anything that is being discontinued next year is fair game. So Ping wise Rapture applies, G10 next year.
There are definitely some great deals to be had... and "up to 40%" isn't really accurate. There was plenty of stuff over 50% off.
Since I wasn't really looking for anything else, I didn't pay a lot of attention, but I noticed a lot of Cobra clubs, Taylor Made Burners, etc. I tried a nice Burner Tour Driver with an Aldila Proto By You R Flex shaft. A little scuffed on for $250. That didn't last long, as I came back from the hitting area a guy was looking for an R flex, so I handed it to him.
Some things that stuck in my mind:
- G5 woods and hybrids in great shape (most probably haven't been hit) for $50.
- Plenty of Rapture hybrids, woods, didn't check price.
- Vokey wedges, a few still in plastic $75
- Two or three staff bags full of putters, including Scotty Cameron... Newport 1.5? I think for $200. - A couple of Red X in the mix.
- A few demo bags
- lots of nice looking iron sets from all manufacturers
- lefties delight... lots of left handed clubs.
After showing up at 6:45am, I couldn't leave empty handed, so I picked up a few two packs of Top Flite Freak, and D2, which are still on for $1.97.
Good luck to all!

I just got back from Kanata , and its pretty much the same , looks like they have a few trade-ins as well as demos , but alot of the demos show some abuse. I'm sure you'll find something if you look hard enough , but i stuck to my word , didn't compromise , and hence, left empty handed ...

Same here. Ran into Wilster and Spackler there. I was hoping to pick up some wedges, but the condition of the wedges did not match the price, so I passed. Left empty handed also.

Trainyards was pretty well attended. Yes, there was a Scotty Select 2 35/340, Select 2 35/340 LH, Select 1.5 1.5 34/350 (?) that I had in my hands for a while, a Red X, a couple of Newport Detours...picked up a TM Burner 3 wood. I couldn't leave empty handed...
There were a couple of Odyssey Tour putters for $50. The same putter on the wall was still listed at 150. I personally don't like the feel of the insert but its still a lot of putter for the price.

Despite numerous sales from what I owned, I seem to have added another putter to my collection.
I'm guessing I met rezadue there as well, since I was with Wilster and ran into spackler.

Great to see so many guys out this morning...there were some good deals if they had what you were looking for. Unfortunately there weren't any cg 14s, but some pretty good deals on other wedges (ping tours $50, mizuno mp-t for $40, Calaway x-forged for $50), bit more expensive for the vokeys and TM z cutters $75. Definitely good deals on iron sets if you were looking, I wasn't looking but ended up buying a set anyway.

Does anyone know what the exchange/refund policy is on demo clubs?
I was told no refund or exhange at the Trainyard this morning. Then I read on another site it was 30 days exchange only.

I picked up a Cobra L4V F with stiff flex shaft in great condition for $180 and a 2008 Cobra Speed LD F 3 wood that was never hit for $100. So I'm a happy camper.
The g/f also picked up a Cobra Speed LD Woman's driver for $150...that was also never hit. It looked better than the new ones that they had in stock.
