I might be next summer. If you take advantage of any of these deals, let me know what you think if them and of the course(s) you play. Thanks.

PEI Golf
Hey all
I will be heading to PEI on June 11th for two weeks and will be trying to hit at least 7 courses.......can you believe that an island that small can hold 17 courses?

I'm from P.E.I. but have lived in Ottawa for 8 years or so. Two of my brothers have one of the best golf deals in the world down there - full annual memberships at the Links at Crowbush Cove for $900 a year. It's almost enough to make me move back.
There are actually more than 17 courses. There should be about 25 to 28 now. In addition to Crowbush being the must-play course, there are new ones in the Cavendish area called Glasgow Hills and Eagles Glen I think that I've yet to play, but which are evidently beautiful. A couple of not so well known but nice ones are the old course at Brudenell River, which is a grasslands style course with some rolling links style hills added about 15 years ago, and its sister course there Dundarave, plus Fox Meadow in Charlottetown. My nephew is assistant teaching CPGA pro at Fox Meadow.
Enjoy your trip and if this post is still open when you return, jot down a note to say how it went.

If you are thinking of going this year you had better hurry up and make your reservations. All the best accomodation gets booked real early.
Don't pay too much attention to the online mapping programs. I find that most of them are a couple of years out of date, and don't allow for the fact that the main highway through NB is now mostly 4 lane with a 110 KPH speed limit.

Oh, I forgot, if you know anyone in PEI take them golfing with you. Locals pay a lot less for green fees then us 'furanurs'

I hit balls over the staircase into the ocean. No whales were suffocated by balls stuck in their blow holes.
