TM R5 Draw -
I bought my TM OS Rac clubs three years ago. At that time I had a severe slice, but mostly with the driver. When I was fitted the pro recommended the above club. Over the years I have learned more about set-up, and grip and I have all but eliminated my slice. However now the draw is working and I have a hard time keeping the ball from going left, either a pull or sometimes a draw/hook.
I am looking to go with a TM neutral driver but will get fitted again to make sure that is my issue.
My question relates to the shaft. Again, when I bought, the pro considered me a beginner and recommended a "soft tip" as most beginners have a problem getting the ball up. My problem is getting the ball down. I hit the driver, on average 200-220, but I get the same distance from my 3W.
Can you advise what features in a shaft would be good for a 57 yr old male, with swing speed in the 90 mph range and with a high spin rate and high launch angle?
