Mont Cascades today

Fall colours, beautiful sunny day, course is in great condition....just a great day up there. Bit of a frost delay this morning, but we finished in just under four hours despite the initial back up.

I took a couple pictures because it was so nice and thought I'd share them. Here we have the 1st tee, from the par 3 4th tee looking toward the green, then from the green looking back to the tee, and the 7th fairway toward the green.

And then the 9th green/fairway looking back to tee and river, the clubhouse above the 9th green, the 13th fairway looking back towards the tee, and finally from the pond on 18 looking back to the tee.

Great shape. Fairways were great, the rough was juicy and the greens were pretty quick and true. The super must have been a bit grumpy considering where the pins were (16 front on edge of slope, 5 right edge, couple others, but those were the worst). Tee boxes were a bit junky, but there aren't many courses that have great tee boxes right now.
