lead tape and a driver
i want to my my shaft feel a bit heavyer before i make the choice of switching to steel
i was thinking about putting a strip of lead tap on the bottom of the shaft
how far up and how much tho? i notice tiger had some one his about 6 inches up

Depending on what shaft you have right now you'll need to add a lot of tape to get close to steel.
Depending on the tape it's about 1g per inch and if you're going from a 75g graphite to steel at ~110g you'll have a strip of tape pretty much the full length of the shaft. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

im not looking to bring it to steel weight but something more close to about a 80g-90g shaft
its a prolaunch red
i find the club seems to come out of plane quite often compared to my steel shaft driver so id like to make it a bit heavyer and see if this fixes it, if not, im plugging in a steel
i threw on 5 layers fo about 5-6 inches of tape 7 inches from the head
is that ok?

I would put one long strip of tape along the back of the shaft. That would simulate the weight distribution of the heavier shaft better.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!
