Shaft Extensions

I was just wondering what everyone's opinion was on using shaft extensions rather then buying new shafts and them cutting them to desired length? Thanks in advance for any input.

There's nothing wrong with using extensions if you want to keep the shafts you already have but just want/need a little more length.

I've generally limited myself to extending by 1" although you can go as high as 2".

So using extension to lengthen by 1/2" is okay. Would you say it is cheaper using extensions then buying new shafts?

It's much cheaper to extend.

Alright thanks. Is there any specific brand of extensions that you would recommend?

I usually use the double ended aluminum ones from Golfworks.
