What is a good comp iron head?

Hey boys, i'm at it again. I gonig forward with moving to a all comp set. What is a good set of iron heads? I don't really care about the price. I did enjoy playing with my G2s but I really want to build my own set. I'm still looking for something forgiving, maybe forged but doesn't have to be. and OS face would be great

Wishon 560MC. Not cheap, but very, very nice looking and forgiving to boot.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Depe, you should have bought my Wishon's when there were for sale..........I do have a buddy with a set of 550s that he's trying to sell - want me to get a price for you?

just googled them, they are so sexy. I would trade my best friend for a set of these.

Wishon and KZG both make great irons but they're only sold through custom clubmakers - so you'll probably have to find a used set if you want to build them yourself. GolfWorks and Golfsmith also have some nice forged designs too.

I'm going to try out the new Raven Undercuts I got from Paulio on Sunday. Nice clubs and really easy to hit, but I don't think they'll knock the Wishon 560's out of my bag. But you never know...

Wishons are available to hobbyist clubmakers as well. There are a few of us on the site that have accounts.

Really? How does one get an account? I'll be building irons for myself next year, and I like the look of some of the Wishons.

    Hmmm, that's good to know...

... although my club 'hoing days are long gone. I've tested out a few clubs, but my bag has been the same for over a year now.

The new signup procedure is on their web page.

More recently they have tried to limit direct access to folks who know what they are doing as a means to protect their brand but I know they have made exceptions for hobbyists in some cases.

If you can't get an account then as I mentioned earlier a few of us can help you out.
