    raking bunker

    Scenario-

fairway left side has three bunkers in a row about 2o yards apart. Player hits into the first bunker and then hits out and lands in the third bunker. Player rakes first bunker which is approx 40 yds back from the third bunker the ball lands in. Player is called for raking the first bunker when his ball is in the other bunker which is separate. Player issued one stroke penalty??? any one know anything on this??
    thanks

There is no penalty. The rule was changed this year to allow raking of the bunker just left.

Exception 3. If the player makes a stroke from a hazard and the ball comes to rest in another hazard, Rule 13-4a does not apply to any subsequent actions taken in the hazard from which the stroke was made.
