    Back In The Winners Circle

I am quite happy to say that after a long drought with no wins in club events etc that I made it back into the Winners Circle today.

I pulled off a one round event win by beating the defending champion by 3 strokes with a round of 76. Not my best but it was a decent round and a win is a win

I got to put on the Green Jacket too, but it was a few sizes too small

Congratulations, but you shouldn't have tried to wear Gary Players green jacket

It might fit Gary Player. I joked with the guy who runs the tourney last week. He works as a Starter/Back Shop Asst with me.

I said "Make sure that jacket is XXL so it will fit me properly at the ceremony" Lo & Behold I win.

So today he tells me "You can not wear that to work on Monday at the course, it does not meet the employee dress code"

I missed the long drive by about two yards, 334 yard par 4, I had 28 yards in, the winner had 26 yards. Two big drives right there

It was a fun day, weather was great. Lots of laughs too. You could buy Mulligans, 2 for $5, one for each 9 to be used on Par 4 or 5 tee shots only. I did not need to use mine. The money from those were split up 3 ways for some draws. Everyone brought a prize to donate to the table. A fun way to run an event.
