Bore thru Callaway wood re-shaft...help?
I'm thinking of re-shafting my Callaway Steelhead 7 wood which currently has the Uniflex steel shaft in it with a new/pull-out from a Great Big Bertha II driver. It's not quite stiff enough for my drivers liking, but my other Callaway fairway woods have the stock stiff pro series shafts in them and I love the feel.
I have a Callaway .350 ferrule that I bought when I re-shafted my GBBII as a spare in case things went wonky, but it seemed to work out fine. I had the shop do my GBBII, but I'm thinking of tackling this myself.
Any suggestions on how to go about this? I checked the Golfsmith site and they have a quite extensive explanation, but I was wondering if anyone here has taken this on in the past. Step by step instructions would be great.
Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions!
