    just be careful

    bouht one of these last year and it burned out on me after 3 uses

    just FYI

    although for $8 you might only need to use it a couple times

    Mine has worked perfectly for 3 years . I'm sure if it burns out CT will replace it

    Reviving an old thread. Nothing wrong with the CDN jobmate heat gun except that the highest heat setting is 450°C (842°F)
    If you are not patient or do not want to screw around forever get a better quality with a higher heat setting for stubborn jobs
    The black and Decker has a highest heat setting of 537.8°C or about 1000°F

    I'm still using my original Balck and Decker purchased in Myrtle Beach at an outlet mall in 1998 ! I think I paid $22 U.S for it.
