    Goals....goals....goals

Well as this season is about to get way setting some goals is in order, so here goes:

#1) Dedicate more practice time to putting
#2) Be more aware of, and start tracking my stats ie. fairways hit, GIR, putts
#3) Qualify for the Alexander of Tunis
#4) Place more respactably in OVGA events this year
#5) Get to scratch or better by June (and keep it there!!)
    #6) Take 6 points in this year's inter-sectional matches
    #7) Get my irons re-shafted and re-gripped
#8) Set a course record somewhere
    #9) Enjoy every round
#10) Take more of the club pro's money

I know that there are many goals ans some lofty ones at that, but if I can achieve sat 3 or 4 of them, it will have been a good year.
Few things in life help you find sanity in the process of losing it. Golf is one of them.

    mental toughness

    My goals for this year

    1. Find employment at a pro shop
    2. If #1 happens, then go for my assistant pro status
    3. For #2 to happen, I must practice harder on and off the golf course
    4. Meditate to help out with my mental toughness
    5. Try to be more positive on the course
    6. Start working out, well at least jogging and push-ups to help with the physical coditioning
    7. Get an index, hopefully 8 or lower
    8. Play in the Ottawa Citizen Amateur Championships (if I can)
    9. Play in more tournaments
    10. Find a new driver and 3 wood that I'm comfortable with
    11. And of course, try to enjoy the game more, because after all it is just a game
