    Instructor recommendations for single-digit handicapper?

I'm considering taking a few lessons before the end of the season and I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an instructor.

My index is around 4 right now so I'm not looking for introductory lessons. My primary goal is to improve my full swing. I'm not looking to do a major change or learn a whole new method... just some fine-tuning. I'm sure I've got several issues that a trained eye would be able to help me out with.

I'd also like to have someone look at my short game but it's not my primary concern.

If someone has a suggestion for an instructor, preferably in the West end of the city, please let me know.

    Thanks.

I've heard nothing but good about Greg Foley, and can personally attest he is an excellent instructor (albeit from a high handicapper's perspective). I liked his simple, no-nonsense approach and his ability to explain things in a way that makes sense.

It took only one 1/2-hour lesson (plus 3 trips to the driving range on my own to work on what he told me) to take me from wild slice @ 200yards to slight-fade/occasional draw @ 250+yards. Now I've just got to work on my consistency!

Long story short, I'd recommend him to anyone

I have 2 friends that teach at Kevin Haimes and would recommend both of them.
    (Greg Foley or Jay Prince.)
I also know another friend that teaches at Kanata Lakes - (Joe Dubinski.)
All 3 are great golfers and great teachers and nice guys.
Any of them would be able to help you for sure.

+2 for this one. I have been a long time fried of Greg, and he has helped me tremendously on my game, and being a CL member I have had the opportunity to deal with Joe and he is an outstanding individual. However, I am not sure that lessons are open to outside members at Kanata, but I am sure it would be tough to pass up $$ using another range.

Gregg Foley. And you all who know him, he has two G's at the end of his first name.
He is excellent at suiting the lesson to the level of the player's ability to play and absorb knowledge.

Non-members of CL can take lessons there.
