dreaded snowman makes 32. So the "interested" list is full. I was going to wait another week or so to pick the date, but I'd rather not wait and loose the, up to now, prefered date. So I'm going to call the club and reserve the 20th.



So it's official!!!!


Sept 20th, starting at 12 noon!!!


Being held at the Copperdale Golf Course, the first non-official Ottawa Golf 2 Man Scramble.

Cost:

$25 gets you a green fee and either a hotdog or hamburger to get your round off on the right foot. Carts are an extra fee, whcih I can reserve, just lmk if you need one.
$10 registration fee, where the funds will be divided among the top three teams:

1st Place: $170
2nd Place: $100
3rd Place: $50

Rules are simple, it's a scramble.

1) Ball is allowed to be placed within 2ft of the original spot, no nearer the hole.
2) All putts are to be holed, no pick ups or gimmies.
3) White tees will be used for all teams and players.
4) Teams will be drawn out of a hat based on dividing the players list in half, with handicaps being the deciding factor.
5) Due to vast difference in handicaps, the event will be handicapped. Players will play off 100% of their handicaps, team handicaps will be based on adding both player's handicaps together. Once the teams are picked and the lowest handicapped team is established, they will be seeded 1 and will play off scratch. Subsequent groupings of handicapped teams will be allotted strokes based on an adjusted system.

Ex: Team 1 has a combined cap of 15, teams with combined caps of 15-17 will not receive any strokes.
Teams with caps of 18-20 will receive one stroke.
Teams with caps of 21-23 will receive two strokes, and so on and so on.

So what I need now is confirmation. First come, first served!!! The previous list was an "interested" list to make sure I could find enough players. First 32 that say they are in will have a spot. It should be lots of fun. Once you sign up, please post your handicap factor at the same time. And sorry, I won't accept my factor says I'm a 7, but I'm really playing like a 13 right now. I'd like your current factor, regardless of how you are playing right now. And please don't round your factor yourself. If you are a 8.7 right now, please post that and not 9, thanks. For team caps, the factors will be rounded as follows:

Teams with a cap of .1-.5 will be rounded down, teams with .6-.9 will be rounded up.
