    Where to start?

    Hi all
I was wondering about learning how to make and fit clubs. Where should I start looking? Are there courses one can take?

    Thanks in advance

For hands on workshops contact Golfworks on Industrial Avenue.

For information on fitting Tom Wishon wrote a book when he was at Dynacraft, "The Modern Guide to Gold Clubmaking," which has been revised by Jeff Jackson.

"The Golfsmith Practical Clubfitting Programme," again written by Tom Wishon when he was at Golfsmith is infinitely better than the first one mentioned above. I have not seen it but Golfworks apparently has a good book, too, and you can buy it here in town.

But get the hands on experience as soon as possible. A few of us on this board have considerable experience in clubmaking and I certainly don't mind trying to answer any questions you have.
