Myrtle Beach question
Myrtle Beach question: Because of the proximity to the sea, is an extra club or two required to get the same distance as you would normally hit in Ottawa? I heard it was a different playing there. Feedback would be appreciated.

Played there in Mar/Apr last four years. This year one of the guys mentioned this and I thought it was a bit of an "excuse" to explain our early season rust. Came home and golfed within about 10 days and did find the ball going further. Could be many explanations but elevation difference is one of them. For me I'd say a club less here to get the same distance.

Yes, it is at least 1 club difference, sometimes 1.5 difference.
