    Swap shafts?

I don't know much about clubmaking etc etc but was wondering if it is possible to pull a shaft out of my current driver and install it on a new head?

    best/fastest/cheapest
My experience(in other scenarios) is that you can only choose 2 out of 3
ie if you want it cheap and fast it may not be the best OR
if you want it fast and the best it may not be cheap OR
sometimes the best and cheap are not always fast

Golfworks on Industrial or Golftown on Trainyard are the closest to Embrun. Not too familiar with the area as I am not originally from here but you may also want to check Al's clubhouse in Greely if that is close.

It's also worth mentioning that the type of driver in question may also pose problems.

Specifically the composite crown Callaway's are notoriously tough to do and some people won't do them.

    J. I've done a few and saved the shafts. What most do not want to do is save the shaft. They'd rather cut it and drill it out.

I've never done a Callaway myself. I don't have the hosel adapter thing and wouldn't want to risk it on someone else's club.

I have done a composite crown before though. I just put a wet sock on the head to keep it cool.
