What's in the Bag - Spring Edition

Okay boys and girls, it's almost time. I can see grass in my backyard, even if it is all casual water.
It's been a while since we did a What's in the Bag on Ottawa Golf. So what is your starting line-up for the Spring? Any major changes?
I've been at the Montreal Golf Dome almost every week, beating all kinds of different clubs senseless and frickaseeing the losers... The MP-33s which finished the season in bag A last autumn are gone. Haven't picked the final A set yet, but here's the list of contenders:

Irons (Blades or CBs.. what to play)

    Callaway Warbird 15* DGS300
    Callaway Warbird 18* DGS300
    The Magic 5-wood, 21* DGS300 (I have 3 of these)
King Cobra Deep Face 14* Apollo stiff steel
King Cobra Deep Face 18* Apollo stiff steel

Wedges (I need to add more... anyone got a 900 Gunmetal 52* for sale?)
    56* Cleveland 900 Gunmetal
56* Titliest Vokey Tour Oil Can (another PGA Tour club)
    53* MacGregor FCW 6
    56* Wilson R-90, Brown shaft
    56* MacGregor Tourney Forged, DGS300

I had a big sell-off recently and pretty much everything I wanted to move to free up space is gone. Everyone seems to love the gunmetals though... I haven't even hit those yet and won't be until a course opens as I don't want to ruin the finish on mats.

Wow! Combo Wishons... very nice. And a darn interesting back up set as well with the 3 pitching wedges. Boy, those GS Tour Cavity Forged 3-7 would sure make a nice combo set with the ProForged blades I have. I'm jealous.
You have some pretty interesting woods too. A 7* 455 in R flex? That's just crazy enough to work! LOL! And a 2-wood, very cool...

Driver(s): Callaway Great Big Bertha II 8.5 degree with Grafalloy Blue stiff shaft
Callaway Hawkeye Pro Series 8.5* with pro x-stiff shaft
Fairway woods: Callaway Hawkeye VFT Pro Series 3 & 5 woods, stiff pro series shaft
Irons: 2003 Callaway irons 2-10, Rifle steel shafts
    Wedges: 2003 Cleveland TA 588 RTG 51*
    2003 Callaway Vintage 56* wedge
2003 Cleveland TA 588 Gunmetal 60* lob wedge
Putter: Odyssey White Hot #1, 35"

I have been using the Callaway HX Red 3 piece for the last little while, but i think I may try the HX Tour for a few rounds, see what the hype is about.

I used the Hawkeye last season with great results, but I got such a great deal on my GBBII that I couldn't help but pick it up and give it a go. I immediately tok the stock shaft out of it after reading a bunch of reviews on the club where heavy hitters had replaced the stock shaft with an aftermarket one and loved the club immediately. Only time will tell tho...

    Putter - STX ProF.I.T. 1
    Bag - Ogio Dolby

Well, since you've been playing this long with only 13 clubs, you obviously don't REALLY need one more, so here are a few novel suggestions:

    1) a 1-iron: not that you'd actually use it (except in bad weather), but just to put in the bag for the "intimidation factor"
    2) a frustration club: this can be any old, $1.99 junky club (preferably with steel shaft) that is used for slamming into the ground or against trees, throwing into ponds, etc. after a particularly bad shot
    3) a 6 wood: be the first one on your block to have one
    4) an 11-wood: just to show that you can count higher than Steve
    5) a left-handed club (RH for lefties): pull it out every once in a while like you're going to use it...then change your mind on club selection at the last second
    6) a Bangenstein FU2 driver: c'mon, wouldn't it be cool to have a headcover with this name on it sticking out of your bag
    7) the Perfect Club: heck, why carry 12, 13 even 14 clubs when this ONE club is perfect for...well, everything!

    Let's see...

    1-9 = 9 clubs plus
    4 wedges = 13 clubs plus
    1 driver = 14 clubs plus
    1 putter = 15 clubs plus
    X woods = too many!!
