    Lachute Golf Club

    I keep on driving by the Lachute GC during the summer and continue to be tempted to stop for an afternoon tee-off. Anybody ever played this course. It seems gorgeous from the club-house. What's the challenge?

    Yes, I've played it. Its fairly flat, but the conditions were good and so was the layout for some holes. I can't remember too many specifics but it was nice (and cheap as I remember it).

    Lachute is one of the best kept secrets in Western Quebec. A very nice course and always in perfect shape. The old course is a classic. Not expensive either.

    Lachute is included in the SignatureGolf group of courses that are accessible by members of the OttawaGolf Club.
    It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

    You're kidding!! I did not know that. The main reason I have not joined the OttawaGolf Club is that there were no courses on the list that were in my area. Lachute is pretty close. I'll have to take a look at the list again....

    That's a gorgeous looking course, and priced very reasonably. How far from Ottawa? Or how far from Hawkesbury?
