That 34 on the back was with a double on a par-5. Coulda been 32 if I had made a par.

If I see 41 on my front or back 9, I'll be partying before I play the next 9 hole

Look at it this way, you finally broke 80 this season. We're just typical golfers, never satisfied.

Very true! First round in the 70's this season. Hopefully the scores keep going down.

I had a 77 in a qualifying tournament at Renfrew with a 7 on a par 3. I look at it as an ESC 75!

My second round breaking 100 was a 44-55 at Le Sorcier. With my handicap, I golfed a net 24 on the front .

Now if only I could golf that way regularly...

Gee---I almost had a hole in one today at Nations---that would have been an Eagle and an Ace on the same hole It's OK though I got a bird Teed off at 7:00 am and by the second hole we were soaked---unreal humidity.
    Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Its a par 5 with woods on the both sides in the landing area, not reachable in 2 for me so I play 3-wood off the tee to be safe. Tee shot into the woods on the left, first provisional also into the woods on the left. Hmmm, better aim right. Next provisonal into the woods on the right. So much for that idea. Another provisional into the woods on the left. The next provisional is a worm burner straight down the middle. Never found any of the previous balls, but I'm off the tee at last!

... but I still have a long way to go. Pull out the trusty 5-wood and pull-hook another ball into the woods on the left. Good thing I put 2 dozen new balls in my bag before leaving or I'd be walking in right about now. My provisional goes into the left rough about 100 yards from the green. Hit a gap wedge onto the green and 3-putted.

I do not know how long this par 5 is but maybe you should hit 7 iron, 7 iron, 7 iron 7 iron, wedge, two putt. That adds up to 7, beats 16

I managed a smooth 43-36 today at Buckingham. The back nine probably would have been crap too if I hadn't gone Eagle-Eagle on #16 & 17. That kind of helped me out in the money games as well.

I went 41, 38 at Outaouais today. I guess I'm consistently horrible whichever front nine I play.

I just matched it at Metcalfe this morning, my friend. Cruising nicely with a 39 on the front, finished with a 53 on the back. A snowman on the 11th was my undoing (and I had to drain a 15-footer to get that) - just couldn't get it together after that.

50-30 at eagle creek last year from the whites. Had a 13 on number 2. Was 7 off the tee and then an additional penalty stroke by (again) going in the water and 3 more double bogies on the front (all penalty strokes).

    Stupid game

Differential of 20!!! Never had a ball striking round like that again.

everything that day was just kick ins. Longest birdie that I had to make was about 6 feet. Ended the day with an eagle on 18 - holed out from about 80 yards.

    Stupid game.

That's not even the most stupid. I once had a round...8 birdies, 8 bogies and two doubles for 76. Was that I didn't have a single par for the whole day. Tried to miss the last 60 footer for birdie on 18 and have a tap in for par..missed my line and sunk the putt.

Best nine ever... 7/7 fairways, 5/9 GIR... but 3 triple bogies for a 44...

then the back nine 2/7 fairways, 0/9 GIR, 4 lost balls... for +16 ... must have been the heat

I did a solid 47-35 at Pineview Municipal last year!
At least it was on the back 9 so I managed to keep my composure after a horrendous front
