    Arthritic Grips

I am a low-mid handicap golfer and have developed arthritis in several of my fingers. I am finding it dificult to maintain a light grip now because of lack of feel and am experiencing pain on contact. Does anyone have any recommendations on any of the soft arthritic grips on the market?

Golf Pride have two that are recommended by the American Arthritic Association. Check out their site at www.golfpride.com. One is the Dual Durometer and I cannot recall the other. Best of luck.

When you re grip your clubs go one step further. Have Pro Soft Inserts installed in the shafts to help dampen the vibrations.

Most club builders should be able to install these for you, or you can do it yourself. I did a set of irons using a home made took to insert the Pro Softs.

    Arthritic grips

I found the DD2'sthe best and also 1 size larger or at least a wrap larger I have arthritise very bad in my hands and went up to mid size and dd2 and I can hold the grip well but it was a trial and error till I found out what worked for me I recommend you try a varity of grips until you find the ones that works for you

I second the DD2 mid size, I tried the DD2 reg and they were fine but the mid size are better for those days when the arthritis acts up in my hands.

Thanks for the information. I was in Golfworks the day before I got your message and checked out their grips.

Thanks for the advice. It is always nice to get advice from another lefty. You never know when to trust a righty.
