    Building my first set...

    I just bought a 6-pw KZG evolution head set. I'm going to spine them, grip them, and do whatever else needs to be done.

    Any pointers? What is the dif between MOI matching and freq matching? Is this something I need to worry about? What about progressively heavier shafts? any info would be great for fitting and building If it turns out to be to much work for me I might just as someone who knows what they are doing to put it together for me

    If you are concerned with MOI or frequency matching the set, take your own advice that is bolded above.

    Start simple. MOI/frequency/SW matching are a little more advanced and probably not something to try on your first set.

    Just follow the trim instructions for the shafts you are going to put in and concentrate on getting the basic assembly done right.
    Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

    I like Jvincents avice better than geoffs LOL

    I'll build the set, in the off season I'll pull the shafts and do it again and just keep working on them and one day I'll MOI match them

    I was merely stating the same as John, just without as much detail.

    Just fort the record.

    Frequency= shaft stiffness
    MOI= total club weight(the resistance to swinging a particular golf club)

    Not really related although added weight or weight removed alters the shaft flex a little.

    Tell me Depe. How will you go about finding out which frequency is right for you? How will you go about finding the right MOI for you?
