THAT's where the idea of "divorce Open" came into play. One year one guy even left his wife at the course and went home he was so upset.

Couples Fun Day Confirmed!
When: Saturday September 13th at 1:00
Where: Mont Cascades
Cost: Golf w/cart $47 per person tax included
Plus 20% off of regularly priced merchandise from the Pro Shop.

I signed the contract today. We have 10 tee times starting at 1:00. That idiot Indio talked me into providing my credit card to guarantee that people will show up! Indio has never let me down before so I will trust his instincts

Since this is a fun get together, there are no prizes and we will play an alternate shot modified event so those spouses that only play once or twice a year will be able to have fun without feeling pressured.

They were willing to setup an inexpensive BBQ but I declined for this 'inaugural' event indicating that we would order ala cart after the round. They will make sure they have enough staff onhand to serve us on the patio after the golf

Not everyone who showed interest will be able to make the date or convince the spouse. Don't worry, there is plenty of time and as I see it the glass is half full. I am sure the good folks at Cascades will be ok with a numbers adjustmet a week or so before the event. It's all good.

I'm not really worried.... I am sure they will give me some leeway for sure.... I just wanted to give a bump and a reminder to those that said they would go that it is open for registration

As long as we are keeping up pace of play, I am perfectly happy with whatever you do

Fair enough, but I have an excuse..........

When my father was growing up (this is a true story btw) - he was from a poor fishing family. He, and the other poor kids from fishing families had to take lobster sandwiches, crab cakes and scallops to school for lunch every day...........only the rich kids could afford things like peanut butter and jelly.

That story has scared me for life and as a result I can't eat seafood
