Members Day for Couples?
OK, so I gave up on the idea of battling twice a year to get people to signup for a Forum Fun Day. I was thinking that it might be much easier to get couples to committ to something like this
So is there any interest out there for you couples to bring your husbands or wives (boyfriend/Girlfriend) out for a fun day of golf at an out of the way course out in the country on a Saturday afternoon with a small BBQ or something like that after?
Early September!
If there are singles who want to join in, I am willing to keep a list and team you up with someone of the opposite sexProud member of the 2009 OG/TGN Ryder Cup Champions

The Mrs. doesn't golf, but it's worth asking since she does eat.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Since the golf is secondary, hopefully more guys will bring out their non golfing significant others and have them play their first game. When I book something I am going to let them know that there may be several first time golfers, thus the reason for an out of the way country course

What might be fun way to take the pressure of the non-golfing spouses is to play a couples scramble.
That way they'd get to hit without getting frustrated and putt as well.
Not speaking about Bugsy here since she'd likely end up playing her own ball a lot.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Poll is now properly filled out. I was apparently having a "retread" moment, they usually only happen on the golf course.
To clarify, it is tentative (for myself and mrs. retread) depending on the date. There are several Sept dates that I am unavailable (Sept 6th evening only, and Sept 20th all day).Determined to keep the rough trimmed. One swing at a time.

Any input into course would be appreciated. I am thinking a place like Mont Cascades... not too long, beautiful scenery, inexpensive for a couple and a nice deck overlooking the river and mountains

I asked hubby, he was a bit non-committal. I think I may be able to swing it though
