Next Place To Play In Ottawa?
Been to a few places... Casselview, Cenntenial, Le Sorcier, Dragonfly, Pineview.
What would guys suggest to go for my next green fee? (I dont like paying 80$ ... 50 max... Mind you, I like twilight

In the east, Outaouais,(shotgun Mon & Fri @ $42), Nation, and Meadows 36 holes), in the west Canadian and Chateau Cartier. IMHO all better than Pineview and most better than Casselview. Although I have only played Manderley once, I'd recommend it as well and they have 27 holes.

If you're in Nepean, then Manderley, Meadows, Emerald links, Cloverdale, Cedar Hill .....

Metcalfe is in great shape as well as Arnprior if you don't mind the drive.
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Greenmere is a great course along with Renfrew if you don't mind the drive.
Slice, hook, or straight down the middle. It all looks the same on the score card.

Whitetail in Eganville is a really nice course. As well, Calabogie is in great shape. They are both cheap to play but a pretty long drive.

If you are looking for excellent value for your money and don't mind a little drive, my choices would be Renfrew (west), Hawkesbury (east) and Upper Canada (south). I haven't played Outaouais, but it is definitely on my list.

Thanks for all your replies. I'll have a few different courses to check out over the next lil while..
Which one would you say is the 'nicest'... I found Le Sorcier excellent. Which one would you say compares to it...
For those who have not been there... It's very scenic... You drive from cliff tops and sh**... lol..

If you like twilight, then the best deal in the city (at least in my books) is Greensmere. play at twilight (3:30 or later) for 25 bucks, 30 on weekends. When you book your time, ask which nines they are using that day...I would recommend going on a day when it is gold and black...the white course is not nearly as interesting.

The problem with this area is that we have too many good courses!
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Make the drive to Renfrew and then to Outaouais no doubt 2 of the nicest public courses around.
