Sun Mountain Cart Parts
I need replace a lost umbrella holder for my Speed Cart. I went online and noticed they do not ship to Canada.
How do I purchase Sun Mountain parts?
I never liked how the umbrella holder was secured to the cart. One slight tug and it falls out. For a piece which is not frequently used, you think they would secure it a little better.

They are $19.99 at Golf Town, but they are (or were last weekend) temporarily out of stock.

$3? Do you mean the little nylon straps that attach the closed umbrella to the cart, or the big secure tube that holds it open on the handle?

I think he mean the securetube:

$3 to $30 sounds an excessive margin for profit!

This is what I need:
005-109 Umbrella Holder Receiver UMBRELLA HOLDER RECEIVER $3.00
I am going to call them tomorrow and see what I can do about getting one shipped. Even $17 dollars is excessive...now knowing the same part is $3 in the US.

Who did you buy it from? What do they say about available replacement parts? Guess if they can't stock/obtain parts I won't be buying there.
As a aside, I have a speed cart also. Found the umbrella holder to work ok. Have used it only a couple of times in the rain and it seems stable enough. Maybe we have different models. My holder screws into a two piece (over/under) base that is clamped onto the handle with four inset screws. Now in the warmer weather I put the holder on at the beginning of the round to hang my Tilley hat on it it is too hot and sweaty during my shot.

There is a kit sold for 10.95 that has the exact same reciever---only not called Sun Mtn. They are available in Massena etc if your ever across the border.
There is no manufacturer on the box but it does say Sun Mountain with their logo---Bar code 200202 005-410 2880

Hope this helps.Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

After you get it, what I did was tywrap a small snap/clip to the frame and put it through the string attached to the holder so if it falls out of the holder you will not loose it and you will always have quick access to it.

Someone out there will now buy a Sun Mountain cart @ $269 because they sent you a $3.00 part for FREE. Now that's good customer service... and unfortunately rare. If I did not have one already, I'd go buy one now.
