New addicted player

Hey Guys,

I started playing golf late last year and I got addicted quite quickly. Obviously I'm not very good but I think I'm improving quickly. I'm wondering if you guys would know where I would be able to find people of similar skills (and preferably age) to play with. I'm 23, by the way. A couple friends I had and played with have recently moved away, which sucks.

Are there any open leagues that go on that have beginners?

There is the National Capital Golf Tour which is for players of all skill levels. They have golfers with handicaps of 5 to 23. It is also stableford scoring system, so everyone is on a level playing field. The people that play are a good group of guys and gals.
