I'm confused. Are you asking what a particular actor personally earned for his work in movies or are you asking what the movies in which he acted grossed? The way you framed the question, suggests it could be either one or the other. As well, are you attributing to the lead actor in a film, the gross receipts realized by that film?

In that case, my guess would be Harrison Ford, primarily because of the Star Wars series. I believe they took in more money than any other movies or series of movies.

mike that is a good guess but remeber although there are 6 star wars movies no actor was in all 6. James earl jones did the voice of vader in 4though someone like bloom might be ahead of ford because of lord of the rings and pirates. Lord of the rings took in more money than any trilogy ever
