Scotty Cameron Prototype Putter Stolen
A SC Prototype centre shaft was stolen yesterday at Greyhawk from my buddy's bag. Putter was in mint condition. They left the headcover over an iron head so we could not see it was missing.
If someone comes accross an ad for the sale of a putter or notices someone that has one for sale for a quick buck please let me know.Golfing only thing on my mind.......

Seriously?? That really makes me angry.. I can't believe a member would steal from another member's bag. I hope they get caught. I'll keep my eyes open. Was it Mike's?

Damn.. Hopefully it pops up ( I will def. be looking on all the forums I visit).. I hate leaving my clubs anywhere.. I had my whole bag stolen about 7 years ago and now I am parinoid.. I never bag drop or leave em very long.. Often if I am going into the snack bar between 9s I take my putter with me..

Wow! that is upsetting. I do admit that I often take my putter into the clubhouse with me rather than leave it outside.
I hope it gets returned somehow.

That really sucks.
Not trying to point fingers, but what time did it go missing?
There was a junior tournament there yesterday so there would have been a lot of non-members there. I played in the AM with lms and Fallys0820 and there a lot of people around who wouldn't normally have been there. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

The storm came in around 3pm and the junior tournament was halted. The bag was left just in the entry area to the main building (under cover) and all the kids were walking around the pro shop and other areas. So can only assume that is when it was lifted.
I had told Mike not to leave the blue SC prototype cover on it....... Was too much of an attraction.Golfing only thing on my mind.......

I have a feeling the word is out. Last night I was on the putting green at Meadows and I had my Newport Beach Centre shaft and a guy who looked like he worked there started asking me about my putter. First of all he was eyeing the putter and then said "nice putter, how long have you had it, is it new."... I didn't ask but his inquisitive nature had me thinking that people around the golf courses are keeping an eye out. I hope I'm right and that he wasn't just hitting on me

Good news........ The putter has been found (3 days later) in a rental set at the club. Nobody can figure out how it got into another bag since my buddies bag was behind the counter at the club. Only thing we can figure out is somebody took it and maybe had a change of mind and dropped it one of the rental bags that was outside the shop.
So the putter has been retired from play by my buddy.
Thanks to all for keeping an eye out and spreading the word.Golfing only thing on my mind.......

Im not surprised it wasn't a kid in the CJGA tournament; those cost around 190$ for the two days so im sure most of the kids have their own scotties or nice flat sticks.
