    AC unit

    house is 3000 sqft and its boiling hot. What do I need and where can I get it cheap? Friend of mine just bought a house and needs an AC unit

    Not sure if this is big enough but Walmart has 5000 btu window units on for 88.00.. Says it will cool 4000sq..

    I think you added an extra '0' Lance.. 5000 window A/C unit could probably do 400-500 sq ft.

    3000 sq ft would need central A/C to do it. You'd be looking at $2500 or more

    Also, good luck getting an AC install scheduled in the next week or so. You can pretty much guarantee they are up to their eyeballs in calls right now.

    3000 sq ft, need central AC not an window shaker. if you dont have ductwork in your hosue than u can get a split unit (Ductless)

    i work in the business feel tfree to PM me with some questions. maybe i can sell the contract for you. i work for a small company and we do ALOT of AC's in the summer.
