A good first step for golf in Olympics
DUBLIN, Ohio - PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem can't think of a better scenario when the International Olympic Committee meets a year from October. Golf is added to the summer program. Chicago is announced as host city for 2016. And Tiger Woods is going strong and eager to add a gold medal to his trophy collection.

this is going to be a joke... you are going to have some guys from each country play in a 4 day tourney? How big would this field be? You'd be leaving off a lot of great players from the US if you were only able to take a certain number of players. You'd have guys from crap countries who can't complete with the south africans, americans and brits... and then in the end because the field sucked you will end up with an olympic champ like Mark Brown from NZl
If tiger wins the gold medal, i'll shave my head. He is done in 8 years anywaywilly

You won't need to shave your head in 8 years, just let nature take its course.
It works in tennis, but I still don't think golf in the olympics would be very interesting.
