Nice! I've often thought of taking the course myself but just don't do enough clubs to justify the cost
    Have fun!

Did you buy it through the recent Citizen auction?

That is how I did it, and thus the cost of everything was 1/2.

    It is a good course.

I guess Greg is really busy. I requested to have textbook first, so I can go through the textbook before I attend the course. I email him 3 times, still waiting reply.

lms, yeah, I won both the course and set-up kit in auction mart. I was not lucky with the course auction. I won at 370$, not half priced. so how was the course? are you able to do the basic repair and fitting by urself now? are you able to grind wedges and bending putter?

    Very Talented

Greg is an extremly busy person there at GolfWorks, He is the most technical person there.. in the city for that matter and does the technical support for all of Canada. I would hate to see his email box on a daily basis that is for sure and always in demand, have to book an appointment because he always assiting others. If you ever wanted to learn about anything he is the one guy to ask. had him make me a driver last year, told him what I was looking for and wanted and he did some magic with the frequency of the shaft and reccommended a Rombax shaft ( sweet ) by the way and hitting 60 percent more accurate than with my Callaway I had at the time and I gained about maybe 8-12 more yards....but a HUGE difference and exactly What I was WANTING!!!!..if you are serious about golf equipment ask for him.

just my couple of cents thrown into the ring here.

Depends on the tools of the trade. You can use a chop saw or a tube cutter. You can use a belt sander or do it by hand. Butane torch or heat gun and the list goes on. There was an auction a couple months back where you could get a starter kit for 1/2 the price.
