Anyone been to Miami?

Year 2 of my NFL tradition, this year opening weekend in Miami.

Anyone been that could make a hotel recommendation on south beach, or restaurants/clubs that are a must?

Go stay at The Tides Donny, I think thats your style, on Ocean Drive on the beach about a 5-8 min walk from the clubs. check it out online... The Tides Miami, I'm sure they have a website. we have a condo on South Ocean a few miles away, awesome beach.

I was just in SoBe at the end of April. I would definitely go back, a close second to Vegas for me.

We stayed at the Whitelaw on Collines, between 8th and 9th St. Great location, small rooms but we didn't stay in the room much. This hotel is part of a group of hotel, go on their website and you'll see the others. We stayed on Collins, a block from the beach and cheaper than staying on Ocean.

For clubs/bars, there are some more laid back lounges and tons of patios on Ocean, just pick a spot, sit, have a drink, and people watch outside. There are a clubs on Washington St, lots to choose from to, Mansion, Cameo, Mynt is on Collins further north. Nikki beach and BED are pretty cool, most of the club is outdoors.

Some decent shopping on Collins to, went to Ventura mall as well which is really nice, but further north. Lincoln Rd mall is an outdoor outlet mall, setup like Sparks St here in Ottawa.

Adventura Mall. puts anything here to shame.

Donny they have a huge bang and olufsen store that I could see you spending some money in.

Got my tickets, 25 yard line, 20 rows from the field. Not as good as my San Diego tickets last year, but very good!!! And I had enough Aeroplan points to cover my flights!

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!

A dud of a game just turned into a great spectacle!!!!! Favre for the JETS!!! And Pennington just signed with Miami!!! Ticket prices have more then doubled and I'm sure Miami is going to be invaded with Jets faithful.

Booked my hotel. Uh, Jarred, the Tides is like $400 a night dude!!! Staying at the Riu Miami Beach. Got a Mustang rented for the weekend. I'm giddy!!!!!
