    Golfing in Las Vegas

    I'm in Las Vegas for a conference at the moment, and yesterday I golfed the "Las Vegas National Golf Club".

    For a course that I had never played, I was happy with my 102 score. Par'd 4 out of the 5 par 3's. I thought it was challenging. Lot's of narrow fairways and tough doglegs. If you're ever in Vegas, I'd recommend it. It's only a few minutes drive from the strip, and the green fees were fair as well at $90 USD.

    If you want some better deals, go a little out of vegas. Henderson is good and a bit cheaper. Another solution: know someone who lives there...rates are cheaper for locals.

    You really ARE evil, aren't you Chris? I hope you're having fun living in the bright lights of Las Vegas and tormenting us snowbound golfless souls. Here we are wandering aimlessly thru our frosty land searching for a simulator which might provide us with some semblance or what being on a real golf course is like and there you are golfing by day and partying with showgirls all night. BTW, you didn't happen to marry Brittney the other day while there did you?

    I do feel your pain, because on Thursday I will be back in the snowbound world which is Montreal. I'm just happy to have been able to squeeze in 18 holes while I was here. The last three holes were very cold, but we managed.

    RoughStuff... a friend of mine lives in Henderson, but I didn't want to stray much further than the strip.
