    Highland Links vs. Bell Bay

Hope you get out and golf these two courses.
People would argue, but Bell Bay is a way better conditioned course than Highland Links.
    Great track

I can't imagine a golf holiday in Cape Breton that does not involve playing Highland Links. Also, make sure you take in some CB music while you are there.

    Hi

Pizzaman is a Cape Bretoner......so we have spent many summers golfing there.

    1) Bell Bay - ask for their discount book of 5 rounds....it will basically give you the resident rate ( approx. $ 65 / round )
    2) Dundee - if you are headed to that side of the Island, absolutely beautiful views of the Brador Lakes. Reasonable rates as well
    3) Highland Links - they have a "48 hour" special - ask them about it .......I believe it is $ 50 or so if you book 2 days ahead.
    4) If you are staying in the Sydney area, Seaview GC is close
    5) Portage in Cheticamp is really beautiful as well - if you are doing the Cabot Trail. It is on the East side of the Island.
    6) Stay away from Pashiendale in Glace Bay.......farmers field

    That's about it............

If you are driving there, you'll find some really nice courses in New Brunswick on the way there..........and PEI has alot of "all you can play" packages.

Have fun! Try some Cape Breton Silver while you're there.......( moonshine )

    I M
It's a matter of golf or death
