    Mountain Creek

    anyone play there recently and can give some insight on the conditions? I have a tee off later today.

    played there a couple of weeks back , the course is in good shape , except for a few tee boxes. if you have played there you'll know that the greens are large and most slope back to front so you typically want to be below the pin.

    Played there twice in the last week. Definitely mid-summer conditions. They topdressed the greens last week and they're running pretty quick and true! The owner is doing quite a bit to improve a course that has improved quite a bit in recent years... they sodded the few dead zones around the course that just wouldn't grow from seed. Eye to detail...

    I agree with cleek - you definitely won't want to be above the pin, though it can make for an exciting putt or three! ;-)
