What the heck is a "KP"?
Apparently stands for "closest to the pin"
I've been around a golf course, most of my life, never heard it like that...
Anyone else?Thanks for the screen-time.

I've seen Sakuraba putt, for him it would stand for Kick in Par. Even if he ever won a closest to the pin, I know he'd two jack it for a solid par. He'd probably leave the first putt short, right Sak???

a friend of mine calls it closest to the pin as well...not sure why though
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

That was the old sak, who struck the ball well, but putted like you mention above.
The new sak hits the ball all over the place, but is putting like a king. Even my arch rival hoolio and newcomer Bouche will grudgingly agree that my putting is on now. I just need a quick range session to get my ball striking back, and I am cracking into the a flight this year.
actually Geoff I have to give you some credit for calling me on leaving my putts short all the time last year.
Now, as regards "KP" wiki has one definition as follows:
Keratosis Pilaris a human genetic disorder, also known as "chicken skin" It is a disease that is rife amongst the members of the TGN ryder cup team!Andrew
