2008 Forum Match Play Tournament: Brackets!!!

Here you go... I used www.random.org to generate a random sequence of numbers from 1 to 32 inclusively.

A few things:
1) Please send me a PM with your current index. I'll update the brackets with your index (in brackets beside your nick). If you don't have one yet, once you have enough rounds in to have one, please send it to me. I will update the brackets with your current index.
2) Try to keep your index up to date in time for your round. You should all be prepared to provide a proof of your index to your fellow competitor if asked.
3) Please post your match details (date/time, course, actual handicap factor that will be used) in this thread.
4) Provide the result of your match in this thread
5) Have fun and enjoy this match play tourney...

Good one. There will be no weekday golf for me until after June 3rd. Only afternoons and weekends until then.

We have a Golf Pool set up on NCGT for OGForum Match Play Tournament.

Same rules as always, you have to be registered user to the site which is free of course.

DEADLINE to enter is May 20th at 10 PM (seeing as the first round is to be done by June 8th)

Unfortunately my good play at the end of last year still has my index real low, 3.4, but with the way I am playing I'm sure it will be up to a more accurate number by the time Mike and I play our match. If I have to play Mike as a 3.4 I will be soundly defeated and make yet another early exit from the forum match play tourney.

Right now the only club in my bag I can hit is the 50° wedge ... only 13 more to go ... I could probably play my hcp with it, but you (and I) would be bored to tears watching me hit 120yds at a time.

I thought about that but what if we choose a course where you consistently have to clear 150yds off the tee.

Hood it, drop it back in your stance, swing harder and pray. Or just play from the forward tees.

Match one is almost finalized. Playing Canadian on Sunday afternoon. Bulldogs 16.2 vs. my 19.9
If we play from the whites, my course handicap will be 19 while his is 15. So I would be getting 4 shots, two on each side.
Holes # 4,5,13 and 14....
