View outside is distracting!

From my desk, I have a nice view overlooking the Marshes course. Right now they are out giving the fairways a nice go over, and the pattern is taking shape!

Let the distraction start!

My old office used to look over the 15th green and down the fairway.

Nothing quite as aggravating as being on a conference call on a nice sunny day watching foursomes come by every 10-15 minutes or so.

You could find yourself ooohing the nice ones and giggling at the hackers, then having to cover for your reactions.

Thanks to the miracle of tinted windows they couldn't see me.

Let me tell you though, I saw more than my share of bad approach shots into that green. The Marshes gets it's share of corporate golfers so there were quite a few hackers going by.

If you want to see a nice site----go to Spring Openings calendar.
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

You must be referring to the 16th green (Par 5) which 411 Legget Dr. (G. Best Building) overlooks. Were you one of the fortunate to have a balcony off your office?? Correction, 15th green is the Par 3 before you come back under Terry Fox Drive.

This 16th hole is ranked 2nd hardest on the course behind the infamous #2.....

I have watched many a low handicap player score very high on this hole. There is a much more narrowing as you approach the green than what appears and many balls will either be faded into the woods on the right hand side or end up in the creek past the bunkers to the left. If they place the pin near the front/middle of the green it is not too bad. However, when the pin is at the very back add another stroke.............
Best approach is to lay up inside 100 yards from the green and then nice easy pitch shot.........take your Par and move on............

Upon speaking with some of the guys who have worked the Canadian Senior Mens tour event they said they saw much higher scores on the 16th hole than on the 2nd hole.........
"So many moving parts. Your whole body's moving, and this ball is not moving. It's standing still, laughing at you." Tiger Woods

Yep, that's right 16. I counted backwards incorrectly.
