And even give you strokes! I'm sure you'll be at the driving range even before I hit send on this message in anticipation!

However, I'm not sure what a "verified handicap" means. I had one from RCGA last year, but it wasn't kept up to date at the end of the year. Depending on when the matches start this year, I might have it valid again. Otherwise, can the scores from my Slammer Tour events be used to calculate one?

You could simply update your RCGA one from last year by entering your Slammer Tour events into a system which is RCGA certified. You could register with this site's RCGA Public Player program - $30 will give you a certified RCGA handicap.

Then I would strongly suggest you start using this site's RCGA Public Player program before your 1st round match. If you have any scorecards from last year, input those in using the slope and rating of the tee box you played from. And input any rounds you will play this year before your 1st round match...
