Golf trip within 4 hours of Ottawa

Hi All,

Looking into booking a golf trip with some buddies for mid-July. Have come acrossed the following places: (1) Owl's Head, (2) Gray Rocks and (3) Smuggler's Glen. Any recommendations on these places? I have never been to any of them.

We are hoping to stay within about a 4 hrs drive of Ottawa and we're looking to spend around $300'ish for a 2-night stay with a minimum of 3 rounds. Any recommendations of other places to go to? We are looking for decent accomodation, no roach motels, and a nice golf course. We've done Malone the past few years and are looking for an alternative.

Three of us are going to Syracuse this weekend, $80 for the hotel and about $40 a rould. Check back if interested.

Thousand Island Resort have great weekend package deals and a beautiful setting, and it is close to Smuggler's Glen.
