Nike SQ 5000, any reviews???
I have been looking for a new driver for the last couple months and have heard good things about this driver. Outside of the ugly 'powerbow' on it, what's the driver like??

I have it and would say its an improvement of the previous version but maybe not leaps and bounds over, Ball flight from one range session is a little lower and would say it was a bit more accurate. Feels very sold on impact something they have been improving on every year. All Factory shafts were sent at 45.75" even my V2 so you might find that a little long.
Still have not played it on the course yet but i like it better then last years Sumo and that is a comparison using the same shaft in both (UST V2 regular)

Does it have that load "TINK" sound?
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

I demo'd the club last week and I even compared it to the SQ tour, same specs. Loved how it felt, and didn't mind how it looked. It was only 5-10 max longer and seems to have as much control. It's on for a good price at GT

I used it last year, very forgiving. but the 2008 model is even better, 5800 vs. 4900 MOI. Hit it in Flodida this winter. That is why the 2007 model is now so inexpensive.

I just picked this bad boy up at GT today. We'll see how long it'll last in the bag. If you hit it dead nuts you hardly feel it other than the sound It's not as bad a sound as you'd think. It's actually really tolerable. If you hit it off the toe a little, it's not that satisfying a feeling, not like the FT3.
Keeping the FT3 for now just to see how the Nike goes for a bit.

my buddy jus bought a square head and loves the forgiveness left to right and gained some distance even after breaking his leg this winter.

I am currently hitting last year's non-square Sumo driver and I have to say I am begin to buy into this high MOI stuff. My mis-hits tend to have a much tighter dispersion. Only the truly terrible swings (and believe me, there are still many of those) stray far off line. I might demo a 5900 just for curiosity.

5900 is the square 2008 version. I have the 5000 "conventional shape" version and it's still pretty "workable".
