Of course I want to see the Sens go deep into the playoffs..................once they are out would like to see Habs win the Cup...............
However, I do not think any team in the East can handle the Ducks.
Particulary if the refs let the Ducks use "dirty" tactics ie. cross check on Alfie, typical Pronger cheap shots etc...............
I am not a big believer in conspiracy, but win I saw Bettman jumping up and down presenting the Cup to the Ducks last season............one had to wonder. Especially when he was so excited in proclaiming it was the first Cup win for a team from the State of California (largest populated State in the U.S.).........Why would the refs continue to let a team use illegal hits is beyond me...................Perhaps the NHL can answer that question.............."So many moving parts. Your whole body's moving, and this ball is not moving. It's standing still, laughing at you." Tiger Woods

In years past we harboured the illusion that the Sens could win it all. This year we aren't even including them in a list of possible winners. How things have changed.

I am going for a Sens/Ducks repeat! I know it sounds crazy, but if the Sens can get past the Pens which i think they can... they will hopefully get back a healthy and rested Alfie and Fisher. The only really proven goalie in the entire East is Brodeur. Ya i know Gerber hasn't played great but he does have previous playoff success and the Sens will remember what is was like last year, and they aren't a significantly different team that the previous one.

I'm going with the Sharks...It will be a tough road for them to get there, as they have to start with the Flames...
Better yet...I think the winner of this series wins the Cup.
Joe Thornton vs Jarome Iginla the two best players in the game today...This is the series to watch for sure....

Man, I'm having a really tough time deciding on this one. My brain says the Ducks, my heart says the Sens, and my gut says Carey Price.

I think that the cup will be awarded to a Western Conference team...I'm just torn as to exactly which team it will be. I still think that Detroit is too soft to win 3 rounds in the West which leaves the Ducks and Sharks as the two front runners - I'm going to go with Sharks to win it all over the NYR in 6 games
