Would you give your pinky finger to play at Augusta?
During yesterday's broadcast of the Houston Open, Johnny Miller said something like "I know most of you guys watching would give your pinky finger to play at Augusta."
Well... would ya?

Um, no. Don't think I would start giving up digits and limbs to play golf anywhere.

Negative... However if there was no consequence to taking a hacksaw to ol' Johnny's hand, I'd take both of his and make a weekend out of it.

love golf, love to play there, but come on, not going to cut off anything that does not grow back to play golf anywhere!

If it could be put on ice and reattached, then yes.

Nope. Losing either one would completely screw up my grip.

I like Hootie, he sent me a personal letter a few years ago However there was no offer for a free round included
As for giving my pinkie to play Augusta, not a chance. No course is worth whacking off a finger.
I think Johnnie was referring to PGA Pro's getting the chance to play in The Masters. My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

JM can be such an Idiot sometimes...............I'd gladly donate one of Indio's pinkies - but I'd let him caddy for me so it'd all work out in the end

Not a chance. I don't need another disability. Besides, I need the pinkie for the interlocking grip.

Hmmm... I'm one of only two people to say yes. I'd like to qualify the answer though. Tell me which hand would be least affected and I think I'd be fine. I play with a guy who regularly shoots close to par with three amputated or partially amputated fingers on one hand.
Clearly I could do without part of or a whole pinky and still keep improving my play. Bring it on - I'm good to go!
