Syracuse !!!!!
For those of you that can't wait, Syracuse is open and in great shape. 8 of us went down on Tuesday and had a great time. Carts were allowed out(but should not have been) and although the greens were slow...they rolled smooth. They will be cutting the greens when it dries up a little more. Well worth the drive.. Seeyou on the links.

We played Foxfire. We've tried a few down there, but Foxfire offers a pretty good challenge off the tee and the greens when cut for this time of year are usually very good. Other than the greens being slow, the course was great. I look forward to going again soon.

Just back from Syracuse. Went down Wed and came back today. Played Radisson Greens both days ($20 to walk, $30 to ride). It's in great shape and quite dry. Not a bad green on the couse and they're all rolling true.
Radisson is a Robert Trent Jones design and, in my opinion, is THE course to play if your going that way. We checked out both Foxfire and Liverpool on Wed evening and decided to play Radisson again. We were the second twosome off this morning, just after 9:00. We finished about 1:00. Weather was superb both days (should have worn shorts on Wed!), but the weekend is calling for cold and rain.
Anyway, if you haven't played Radisson Greens, give it a try; I think you'll like it.

Played Radisson Greens on the weekend. Course is in great shape. The greens really rool nice. Not a bad green out there. It was my first time playing it and was impressed. It is a fun course, lots of very nice holes. Definitely not a super tough course, but fun for sure. Great value at $29. As good as or better than Emerald Links and almost half the price on a Saturday... Cheaper to drive there and play than stay here and play Emerald... hmmm... that's not good...
