Also They said they're using a combination of the 27 holes. 12 on the regular course and 6 on the 9 hole. He said they're all drying out nice and no Temp greens

Driving by Champlain, #3 is almost clear except for a bit of coverage and the odd snowbank, there's a lot of green showing on 3 and 4, and what's showing looks nice and "green". Low lying fairways I could see are starting to show grass. Couple days like this will get us pretty close.

And look at that weather forecast!

Most courses should be opening with the quickness if this keeps up!

Coming off my "long week" of nights. So... once I finish my "short week" come Friday morning, there's no reason why I shouldn't expect to be able to play on the weekend???
Right??? Awesome!!

Prescott is open Thursday. You already know this because I booked us a time, but I'm posting for everyone else.
Apparently greens weathered well, no temps. Not that it's a surprise, but there are going to some wet areas approaching some of the greens. I don't really care, 21 degrees and I'm not going to be stuck in this damn office!Let's put a Smile on that Face!

Playing Precott Friday morning. Let me know how the course is Thursday. I forgot to ask for the price of green fees as I was too excited to actually be golfing Friday. My home course is opening Saturday(Heritage Golf and Country in Lancaster, On).
Thanks,
Steve

Hoolio can report on conditions when we return tomorrow night.
I might wear shorts tomorrow!

Nation has moved back their opening date to an undecided date. He said maybe sunday if they're lucky but they haven't decided that yet.
this year will never start.Scott - Golf...Fail.

Just finished squeezing 9 in at Cedar Glen. It has to be the driest opening they have had. Water is not a factor here. The only scary part was walking from the ninth to the tenth hole as there was snow all around that area. But that was it, I didn't even have waterproof shoes on and my socks were as dry as can be when I finished. Only the back 9 is open. Front nine opens in a week.

Same with Metcalfe

Boys & Girls... If you're gonna have some fun, please remember to use protection.
I neglected to apply the sunscreen today, and nearly cut my left hand open trying to make a BLT this afternoon when I got home. Who would have known that my balled up hand looks like a ripe tomato.Let's put a Smile on that Face!
