    My first reshaft

I have decided to do my first reshaft on an R7 425 head I have sitting in the basement. I have a .350 driver shaft and the head, from what I have seen, is .350 as well. However when I insert the shaft (prepped, no epoxy yet) into the hosel there seems to be a lot of play. I have tried the same with an old Reax shaft out of an R7 and the fit seems much more snug. The question I have is how much play is too much? Do I need some sort of an adapter? Thanks guys and any help would be much appreciated

Hard to say if there is too much play without seeing it.

If you are worried about it, just wrap a little mesh drywall tape around the tip of the shaft and epoxy it in as you normally would.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Assuming that the shaft and head are a match dimension wise you have two choices, 1) get .15" shim and pluck off some (alternating) prongs to make a snug fit, and 2) add some centre shaft crystal beads to your epoxy (following the instructions).
