Obstruction
John pulls his tee shot left and just short of the 13th green at Mississippi and it comes to rest at the base of the oak tree that lies between his ball and the green. Because he is right handed his feet rest on the crushed stoned cart path. He determines that his nearest point of relief is just 1 foot from where the ball lies, but being able to drop the ball within 1 club length of that spot on the fairway side of the tree, he is able to get a clear shot to the green. What is the ruling?
